A guided retreat may be one day, a weekend, or several days. A facilitator will present a particular theme, offer some content, and make suggestions for personal prayer and reflection. There will be periods of silence as well as time for shared conversation. Facilitators may offer to meet retreatants individually to address insights and concerns that have arisen.

On Friday evening you will meet to settle into the purpose and guidelines for this special writing weekend.
On Saturday morning from 9am - noon Ayunajoan Weir will guide you through experiences on the theme. An ancient ritual will be used to create offerings for healing the earth and ourselves. It is a fun, creative, beautiful and deeply inspiring process.
The remainder of the retreat will give you time to write and share on your experiences of healing.

Kathy Murtha is a retreat/workshop facilitator with over 30 years of experience. For the past 12 years she was Director of Scarboro Missions Retreat Centre and is presently Retreat Coordinator for The Mary Ward Centre in Toronto.

Private Retreats
A private retreat may be one day or up to 10 days in length. You will set your agenda and schedule and maintain an attitude of silence and prayer throughout your stay. If the experience of a private retreat is new for you, we suggest that you meet with a spiritual director at least once during your stay.
Private retreats, days of reflection, and ongoing spiritual direction may be arranged.
